FAQ's:

What is a Giclee? How do you pronounce it?
The word Giclee comes from the French word meaning - to spray or squirt. In the word of Inkjet, it applies to a level of quality of both the print and of the inks being used. PointClickPrint uses archival inks and archival papers for a long lasting print that should outlive us both.
The word is NOT pronounced GICKLEE, being French it should be pronounced jeeclay with more of jjuuuuhhh sound at the start.

What Kind of Photo Paper do you use?
I use Fuji Crystal Archive II for my glossy and matte surface prints for sizes 3.5x5 up to 8x12.

I use Epson Premium Glossy and Photo Lustre papers for the large format prints

I use LexJet Sunset Select Matte & Satin Canvas

What is the difference between the two canvas choices?
The Satin canvas has a bit of a gloss sheen to it and is more like a traditional artists canvas with more of a texture and slight imperfections in the "weave" of the
canvas. It is very good for Art reproductions of oil paintings and for nature photography and also portraiture.

The Sunset Matte canvas is a very "flat" canvas and has a tight pattern. This is a very good choice for detailed photos and also portraiture and art reproduction.

They are both excellent and really just comes down to your personal tastes.

What is the difference between a Gallery Wrap and having the canvas put on stretcher bars?
$10.00 next question please... (tee hee, I crack me up)
Traditionally canvas is stretched and stapled to wooden stretcher bars and then put in a frame. This puts the canvas under tension and is considered the standard

.
Recently Gallery Wraps have become popular, This is where the image wraps around the stretcher bars, which are normally 1" to 2" in width. This gives the image depth
and traditional framing is not needed. You can just place it on an easel or wire it hang it on the wall or hang it by a nail, there is a center slot on the stretcher bar.
